Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction Prints, which included the work Modus Vivendi, from Thirty-five artists by Paul Huxley. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 356.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Huxley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled No.5 in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,739.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Modus Vivendi, from Thirty-five artists von Paul Huxley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240,00 (€ 356,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Huxley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled No.5 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.739,03).
