This artwork by Paul Huxley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2011. In the The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two auction, the work No. 44 sold for EUR 8,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Huxley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled No.5 sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,739.03).
