A top price for Paul Huxley - as previously expected
In December 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Untitled No.5 by Paul Huxley. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,739.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled No.5 is the most expensive artwork by Paul Huxley that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled No.5 von Paul Huxley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.739,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled No.5 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Paul Huxley, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
