This artwork by Paul Huxley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2011. In the The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three auction, the work Untitled No. 33 sold for EUR 10,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Huxley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled No.5 sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,739.03).
