Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Untitled No. 195 by Paul Huxley. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,905.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Huxley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled No.5, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,739.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled No. 195 von Paul Huxley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.905,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Huxley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled No.5 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.739,03) versteigert wurde.
