Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled No. 46 by Paul Huxley was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2011. It achieved a price of EUR 6,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Huxley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled No.5, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,739.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled No. 46 von Paul Huxley kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Huxley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled No.5 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.739,03) versteigert wurde.
