Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Killary Bay, Connemara 35.7 x 40.6 cm. (14 x 16 in.) by Paul Henry was auctioned at Bonhams in Dublin in November this year. The price achieved of EUR 140,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Henry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains and Lake, Connemara in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 622,500.00 (€ 730,010.33).

Die Arbeit Killary Bay, Connemara 35.7 x 40.6 cm. (14 x 16 in.) von Paul Henry kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Dublin zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 140.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Henry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains and Lake, Connemara im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 622.500,00 (€ 730.010,33).
