The work The Village by the Lake by Paul Henry was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 277,200.00 (€ 325,458.88), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Henry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountains and Lake, Connemara, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 622,500.00 (€ 730,010.33).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 325.458,88) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Henry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountains and Lake, Connemara beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 622.500,00 (€ 730.010,33) versteigert wurde.
