It achieved a price of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 70,454.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Henry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains and Lake, Connemara in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 622,500.00 (€ 730,010.33).

Die Arbeit Showery Day, Connemara von Paul Henry wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 70.454,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71%.
