Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cottages By A Stream by Paul Henry was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,776.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Henry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains and Lake, Connemara in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 622,500.00 (€ 730,010.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cottages By A Stream von Paul Henry kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.776,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Henry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains and Lake, Connemara im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 622.500,00 (€ 730.010,33).
