It achieved a price of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 105,293.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Admittedly, works by Paul Henry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains and Lake, Connemara in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 622,500.00 (€ 730,010.33).

Die Arbeit Evening On Killary Bay von Paul Henry wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 105.293,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Henry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains and Lake, Connemara im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 622.500,00 (€ 730.010,33).
