It achieved a price of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 146,780.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Paul Henry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains and Lake, Connemara in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 622,500.00 (€ 730,010.33).

Die Arbeit Errigal, County Donegal von Paul Henry kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 146.780,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Henry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains and Lake, Connemara im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 622.500,00 (€ 730.010,33).
