In September 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included this untitled work by Paul Feeley. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,446.17), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Feeley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ACRUX in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 91,430.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paul Feeley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.446,17) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Feeley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ACRUX im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 91.430,55).
