In December 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Vase De Fleurs by Paul Aïzpiri. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,057.83), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Aïzpiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,000.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase De Fleurs von Paul Aïzpiri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.057,83) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Aïzpiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Baie De St. Tropez Vue De Beauvallon im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.000,90).
