Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work When Sounds Clash by Paul Anthony Smith. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 12,494.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Paul Anthony Smith have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September last year the work without title was auctioned for USD 16,380.00 (€ 16,743.33).
