Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bow Human by Pamela Rosenkranz was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2020. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,867.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pamela Rosenkranz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice), which sold at auction in February 2016 for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bow Human von Pamela Rosenkranz kam im März 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.867,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Pamela Rosenkranz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 54.458,50) versteigert wurde.
