This artwork by Otto B. de Kat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2002. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Dorre Bladeren sold for EUR 2,270.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto B. de Kat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work De ronde tafel - Ukkel, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 7,528.50.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto B. de Kat erzielte im September 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Dorre Bladeren für EUR 2.270,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto B. de Kat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit De ronde tafel - Ukkel beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 7.528,50 versteigert wurde.
