The work Woman by Ota Janecek was sold in the Impressionist/Modern auction at Christies in London in February 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,379.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Admittedly, works by Ota Janecek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stři´bra´k a ja´ : Andaluska´ elegie in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,752.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Woman von Ota Janecek wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.379,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ota Janecek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stři´bra´k a ja´ : Andaluska´ elegie im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.752,65).
