Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tough Time by Oluwole Omofemi was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 16,510.00 (€ 15,599.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oluwole Omofemi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Invader in March last year with an auction result of USD 189,000.00 (€ 170,377.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tough Time von Oluwole Omofemi kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 16.510,00 (€ 15.599,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oluwole Omofemi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Invader im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 189.000,00 (€ 170.377,72).
