Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Cosmic Girl at the Lonely Peak by Okokume for HKD 1,890.00 (€ 228.51). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Okokume achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Eyes of the Soul (2 Works) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 70,768.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cosmic Girl at the Lonely Peak von Okokume für HKD 1.890,00 (€ 228,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Okokume erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Eyes of the Soul (2 Works) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 70.768,86).
