The work Along With Her by Okokume was worth HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,601.33) to a buyer in June 2018. This price was achieved in the auction CURATED: TURN IT UP at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Okokume have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Eyes of the Soul (2 Works) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 70,768.86).

Die Arbeit Along With Her von Okokume war einem Käufer im Juni 2018 HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.601,33) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion CURATED: TURN IT UP bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Okokume auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Eyes of the Soul (2 Works) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 70.768,86).
