Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sidon Dey Look by Odinakachi Okoroafor for USD 1,397.00 (€ 1,262.88). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York at Phillips in 7 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Odinakachi Okoroafor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spinster in April last year with an auction result of GBP 15,750.00 (€ 18,781.32).
