Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Bush Girl IV by Odinakachi Okoroafor for USD 2,540.00 (€ 2,304.90). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips in 17 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Odinakachi Okoroafor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spinster in April last year with an auction result of GBP 15,750.00 (€ 18,781.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bush Girl IV von Odinakachi Okoroafor für USD 2.540,00 (€ 2.304,90) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Odinakachi Okoroafor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spinster im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.750,00 (€ 18.781,32).
