Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work November Fog by Norman Cornish. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,760.00 (€ 6,674.59), 15% above the upper estimate. Other works by Norman Cornish have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,962.36) in March 2018 for the work The Newcastle Bar.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 6.674,59) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Norman Cornish haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.962,36) im März 2018 für die Arbeit The Newcastle Bar beobachtet.
