Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Phase Conception, No. G8-34, Border Of Ellipse(Executed In 1988) by Nobuo Sekine was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,972.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
