Gilbert Collection of Important Prints by James Gillray (1756-1815)(Lots 251-363) auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,139.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nina Chanel Abney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 7,210,000.00 (€ 816,683.16).
