Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nina Chanel Abney could be acquired at Christies in London in September last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge: Banksy and 21st Century Editions auction, the work Baby changed hands for GBP 504.00 (€ 573.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nina Chanel Abney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 7,210,000.00 (€ 816,683.16).

In der Auktion Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge: Banksy and 21st Century Editions wechselte die Arbeit Baby für GBP 504,00 (€ 573,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nina Chanel Abney erzielen.
