This artwork by Nina Bovasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in December 2006. In the Saturday@Phillips auction, the work without title sold for USD 1,140.00 (€ 863.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 500.00. Admittedly, works by Nina Bovasso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers on a Walk in 2009 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,369.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nina Bovasso erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Saturday@Phillips wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.140,00 (€ 863,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nina Bovasso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers on a Walk im 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.369,87).
