Despite a disappointment, a good price for Nina Bovasso
In 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Flowers on a Walk by Nina Bovasso for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,369.87). This price was achieved in the auction New York New York at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Flowers on a Walk is the most expensive artwork by Nina Bovasso that we have observed at auction so far.
