Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nina Bovasso was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 875.00 (€ 710.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nina Bovasso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers on a Walk in 2009 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,369.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nina Bovasso wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 710,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nina Bovasso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers on a Walk im 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.369,87).
