Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nikolas Gambaroff could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,113.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolas Gambaroff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,935.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nikolas Gambaroff konnte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.113,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolas Gambaroff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.935,62).
