Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work The Hispanic Project (2) by Nikki S. Lee. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,757.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikki S. Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images, 1998-1999 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 19,200.00 (€ 15,209.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Hispanic Project (2) von Nikki S. Lee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.757,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nikki S. Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images, 1998-1999 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 15.209,13).
