The work Sans titre by Nicolas de Staël was sold in the Art contemporain - vente online auction at Christies in Paris in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 25,200.00 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas de Staël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parc des Princes (Les grands footballeurs) in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 20,000,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Nicolas de Staël wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art contemporain - vente online bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 25.200,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas de Staël erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parc des Princes (Les grands footballeurs) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000.000,00.
