The work “Méditerranée” by Nicolas de Staël was sold in the CoBrA auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. The result of DKK 30,000.00 (€ 4,024.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas de Staël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parc des Princes (Les grands footballeurs) in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 20,000,000.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit “Méditerranée” von Nicolas de Staël wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 30.000,00 (€ 4.024,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas de Staël erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parc des Princes (Les grands footballeurs) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000.000,00.
