Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Mediterranée“. by Nicolas de Staël was auctioned at Grisebach in July 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas de Staël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parc des Princes (Les grands footballeurs) in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 20,000,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „Mediterranée“. von Nicolas de Staël kam im Juli 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas de Staël erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parc des Princes (Les grands footballeurs) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000.000,00.
