In March 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included this untitled work by Nick Goss. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,332.16), 62% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Goss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calenture Fostic in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,820.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nick Goss zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.332,16) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Goss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calenture Fostic im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.820,28).
