Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nick Goss could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work THEY ALONE SURVIVED changed hands for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,502.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Goss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calenture Fostic in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,820.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nick Goss konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit THEY ALONE SURVIVED für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.502,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Goss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calenture Fostic im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.820,28).
