Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two big schooners of the Royal Yacht Squadron racing off the Needles by Nicholas Matthew Condy was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,368.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicholas Matthew Condy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fernande, R.W.Y.C. winning the Queen's Vase, Plymouth, August 26th, 1849; and A schooner yacht at anchor off Mount Edgcumbe, Plymouth in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 41,125.00 (€ 59,035.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two big schooners of the Royal Yacht Squadron racing off the Needles von Nicholas Matthew Condy wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Marine Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
