Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work By The River by Nguyen Phan Chanh was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 129,056.94). Admittedly, works by Nguyen Phan Chanh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Couturières (Seamstresses at Work) in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 10,930,000.00 (€ 1,152,878.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit By The River von Nguyen Phan Chanh kam im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 129.056,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Phan Chanh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Couturières (Seamstresses at Work) im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.930.000,00 (€ 1.152.878,17).
