Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ned Vena could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Online auction, the work Untitled (Two works) changed hands for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,781.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ned Vena achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,871.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ned Vena konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open | Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Two works) für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.781,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ned Vena erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 91.871,23).
