Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ned Vena was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,570.95), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ned Vena achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,871.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ned Vena wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.570,95) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ned Vena erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 91.871,23).
