Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Ned Vena. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,912.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ned Vena achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,871.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ned Vena zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.912,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ned Vena erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 91.871,23).
