Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Lozenge 10) by Ned Vena for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,496.33). This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ned Vena achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 91,871.23).
