Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Girl With Open Mouth by Neal Tait. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,533.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Neal Tait achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Varda in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,684.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl With Open Mouth von Neal Tait zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.533,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Neal Tait erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Varda im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.684,35).
