Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Neal Tait could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Orange Girl changed hands for GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,347.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Neal Tait achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Varda in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,684.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Neal Tait konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Orange Girl für GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.347,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Neal Tait erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Varda im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.684,35).
