Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mithunna IV by Natvar Bhavsar was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2012. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,834.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natvar Bhavsar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sangam Iii in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 116,376.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mithunna IV von Natvar Bhavsar kam im April 2012 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.834,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natvar Bhavsar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sangam Iii im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 116.376,50).
