Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Yellow Drawing by Natvar Bhavsar for USD 875.00 (€ 635.02). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natvar Bhavsar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sangam Iii in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 116,376.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Yellow Drawing von Natvar Bhavsar für USD 875,00 (€ 635,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natvar Bhavsar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sangam Iii im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 116.376,50).
