A top price for Nathaniel Plimer - as previously expected
In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction The Althorp Attic Sale - Including the Spencer Carriages, which included the work Unknown by Nathaniel Plimer. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,607.16), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Unknown is the most expensive artwork by Nathaniel Plimer that we have observed at auctions so far.
