Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Natalia Dumitresco. The price achieved of USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,821.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Natalia Dumitresco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1957, which sold at auction in December 2010 for EUR 42,671.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Natalia Dumitresco zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.821,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Natalia Dumitresco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1957 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für EUR 42.671,00 versteigert wurde.
