In March 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Los Angeles Freeway - 1972 by Natalia Dumitresco. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,900.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Natalia Dumitresco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition, 1957 in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 42,671.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Los Angeles Freeway - 1972 von Natalia Dumitresco zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.900,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Natalia Dumitresco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition, 1957 im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.671,00.
